“Made in America” used to be a guarantee — a part that fit right the first time, every time. Then three decades of chasing the lowest bid moved production overseas, shops that had run for generations went dark, and the machinists who could hold a thousandth retired with no one behind them.
Here's what nobody wanted to admit: the talent never left. The system around it broke — manual scheduling, single-shift production, paper travelers, and a business model that asked the best machinists in the world to compete on price with a factory floor twelve time zones away running three shifts.
That fight was never fair, and we refused to keep losing it the old way. So we built a software-driven shop engineered to run through the night, every night. No third shift — one automated standard, around the clock, on American soil. Automation isn't the enemy of American manufacturing. It's how American precision competes on cost without compromising on integrity.

Andrew Adams founded LightsOut after years in commercial banking and financial advisory working alongside American manufacturers. The pattern was impossible to miss: skilled machinists and strong equipment held back by inefficient systems, missed deadlines, and operational structure built for a different century. LightsOut is the answer he couldn't find on any client's balance sheet — an automated, software-driven precision shop built for speed, efficiency, and scale from day one.
