In aerospace, quality isn't what you claim — it's what you hand over on shipment day. This page shows how we prove it, chapter by chapter: where we stand on certifications, what ships with every part, and what happens when something doesn't measure right.
01 — Where we stand
We don't claim credentials we don't hold. Every certification below is either active, in progress, or on the roadmap — with a real target and a real reason it matters to your program.
ITAR Registration
In progress
Directorate of Defense Trade Controls registration filed. Required to handle controlled technical data on defense and dual-use aerospace programs.
AS9100D
On the roadmap
The aerospace quality management standard. Documentation, procedures, and internal audits are being built to standard now; external audit follows. Required for direct work with most primes and Tier 1s.
ISO 9001
Planned
The general quality management baseline. Reached in the process of AS9100D certification since AS9100D is a superset of ISO 9001.
NADCAP
Future
Special-process accreditation (heat treat, non-destructive testing, chemical processing). We don't perform these in-house today; we route them through NADCAP-accredited partners with full documentation.
ISO 13485
Future
Medical device manufacturing quality standard. Considered for expansion beyond aerospace once AS9100D is stable.

02 — What ships with the part
A part without documentation is a part your quality team can't accept. Every shipment leaves with a standard documentation package — delivered digitally, tied to the part number and lot.
03 — First Article Inspection
First Article Inspection is where aerospace quality lives or dies. We deliver Forms 1, 2, and 3 in AS9102 Revision C format, digitally signed, with balloon drawings, characteristic accountability, and results traceable to the specific measurement device. Re-FAI is triggered on drawing revision, break in production over two years, source change, or documented process change — the same rules the standard calls out, applied without arguing.
04 — Traceability
Aluminum arrives with a mill test report. It enters the shop tagged to a heat and lot. Every part machined from that stock carries the lot forward. Probing data, CMM measurements, operator identity on each setup, and the outbound packing slip all key back to the same record. When a customer asks 'which lot did this part come from?' — the answer takes seconds, not a warehouse search.
05 — Program-specific quality
Primes each carry their own Q-clause library on top of the industry standard. Boeing's D6-82479, Lockheed's Q-notes, Northrop's SBS-2, SpaceX's supplier quality manual — different vocabularies, similar intent. Send us your supplier quality manual and the Q-clauses called out on the drawing; we'll flow them through to the traveler and the FAI record so nothing gets missed at receiving inspection.
06 — When something goes wrong
In aerospace, quality is measured less by whether something ever goes wrong and more by what happens when it does. When we identify a non-conformance, the process is: contain the affected lot, notify the customer within one business day, run root cause using structured analysis (5-why, fishbone, 8D on request), implement corrective action with verification, and close the loop with documented evidence. No blaming the operator, no undocumented rework, no shipping through and hoping. That posture is why primes trust suppliers who own their mistakes over suppliers who never seem to have any.
